Nature Immersion

By Eric Fender

On your nature immersion the sacred area is for you personally to become any way that you're to be. There are no rules except those that really feel all-natural for you personally. (Note: if you're inside a fire-prone region then from responsibility you need to take notice of warnings through the fire division and abide by them.

Once you have settled in to your sacred area and therefore are feeling comfy and in tune, it's a good time to go through your intentions for going on a nature immersion. You're now there and nature is continuously speaking with you. It is only a matter of tapping in. Placing power into your intentions once more will setup the space for insights from to happen.

It's most significant however that you don't become distracted by your thoughts while on your nature immersion. Following a day or two your thoughts will most likely slow down normally and by itself. This is the way in which indigenous people encounter the world. There's no real need to 'think' when out in nature.

However, in the event you notice that your head is constantly in charge instead of your intuition then a good method to slow it down is to shut your eyes and listen to it. Discover it's tone. Notice the speed. Discover what it says. Then begin to deal with it like a small kid and simply say 'Thank you for sharing'. Just after you say this, you will probably discover there's a pause inside your mental chatter.

Then an additional thought might pop up. Once more, say 'Thank you for sharing' and pay attention again to the pause in your thinking. As you concentrate on and place your awareness on this silence it typically grows longer and longer. This is what the Buddhists call no-mind. I also prefer to call this state 'innocence' because this really is how infants and youthful children are in the world. It's Ok to not think.

In the area of innocence you can then scan the body for just about any tension. If you notice any stress then like letting go of the rock, just allow it go and allow it to drop towards the earth. The earth can use this tension where it is needed.

This space of innocence and rest then lets you tap into your heart center. This really is the space right at the center of one's breastbone and is usually around the size of a golf ball. Some find it expands as they put their attention upon it whilst tapping into their intuition.
