Planning A Trip To The Turks And Caicos Islands

By Ben Pate

Family friendly vacations are hard to come by, often they involve long car rides and trips to otherwise boring destinations. However, the Turks And Caicos Islands are a great destination for any family. Be sure that all your passports are in order before embarking on the trip. If your kids got passports over five years go there is no pasport renewal for children, so you will have to apply for a new one.

Passports

Passports are documents that allow for international travel. Anyone wishing to enter a foreign country or re-enter their country of origin must have a United States passport in their position. Children used to e able to travel on their parent's pass ports, however, now, due to stricter child trafficking laws this has changed. All children including infants must have their own passport.

Turks and Caicos

The Caribbean is a hot destination for many travelers. It offers warm beautiful beaches and lushes scenery. The Turks And Caicos Islands are a little less known but recently they have become a hub for family friendly vacationers. There are forty islands, out of those forty there are eight islands that are actually inhabited by people.

Kid Friendly Destination

Trying to find a destination that is family friendly can be difficult. However, the Beaches Turks and Caicos resort is the perfect solution. They have activities for any member of the family from the baby to grandpa.

Kid Friendly Fun

The resort features a Sesame Street Extravaganza which means that the loved characters from Sesame Street are at the resort. The resort offers a special camp for kids from 9am to 5pm and they can enjoy activities with their favorite Sesame Street pals, like Elmo, Grover, and even Big Bird. This means that while the children are enjoying their camp, parents can have alone time. For a bit extra favorite characters can also tuck children into bed at night after reading them a story or join them for breakfast in the morning.

Water Parks

Although the Caribbean features many beaches, it's hard to wrangle kids at the ocean. For this reason the resort also features a variety of kid friendly water parks with Sesame Street themes as well. There are lifeguards featured at each.

Cuisine

The resort features sixteen restaurants which is sure to pleasure any palate. Some restaurants even feature the Sesame Street characters. Parent's can also enjoy a special evening out by taking advantage of the evening babysitting services available.
